You can use this USB infrared receiver in order to control the Windows® Media Center in Windows Vista®, Windows® 7 and 8 with your remote control - not matter if you take a MCE or universal remote.

The receiver is lernable. With the included IR-blaster you can control a settopbox which is connected to the HTPC with your Media Center remote control.

If you use additional programs like Eventghost or Intelliremote®, you can control quite more than the Windows® Media Center.
